Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2012, at Ballard Family Mortuary; service will begin at 5:00 p.m. Visitation will also be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2012, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary on Oahu; service will start at 6:00 p.m. Robert retired as an Occupational Safety and Health Branch Manager for the State of Hawaii. He is survived by his wife, Michie Sera; daughter, Stephanie (Eric) Borges; sister, Joyce (Paul) Sonobe; grandchildren, Britney, Brennen, Ilikea; great-grandchild, Skyrah; and many nieces & nephews.
