Mr Robin Lampson was a wonderful man, a devoted, father and husband. We met Robin because our daughters Elizabeth and Meghann played on the same soccer team together,  (the Acorns) Over the years we have gotten to know Robin and we are so very sorry to hear of his passing. We will pray, pray and pray for Robin and the Lampson family, Madeline and Meghann. Robin was such a true and honest friend, always with happy thoughts, smiles on his face and a willingness to help you at any time!!!!

One such event was when we were fixing up our den room upstairs and we needed some wall paneling on the walls. Well Robin, when he heard volunteered right away and helped me with that project. Robin was upstairs yelling down measurements for me to cut, run them up the stairs so he could nail them in. What a beautiful room we have up there all because of Robin’s loving help!!!
     One of our kids soccer trips was to fly to England and Holland and play some girls teams over there. Madeline and Robin came along and we had a grand old time not only with the soccer games but all the sightseeing in these two countries.

We sorely missed Robin, Madeline and Meghann when they decided to move to Hawaii.

I’m looking up to you Robin, in heaven because I know that’s where you’re at. Thank you for being our friend and for doing so much for so many people down here on earth.

Robin was dynamic, gifted and enjoyed life. Barbara Proctor in Vallejo California I learned much front him. 

Thanks Dad for all the good times and a few times were tough but that's how life can be for us all.  It started 
in Carmichael, the first suburb of Sacramento where we would end up both good and rough times but then changed for the better as we grew up. 

You showed us to enjoy the outdoors and took us as a family to the mountains. Places like Yosemite, the Grand Canyon and closer like Green Valley on backpacking and camping trips.  Many were memorable and I can still see those places in my memories.  Thank you for taking us to these great places and letting us see we need to protect these wild spaces. 

And when you moved to Hawaii it would also show me and many others what a beautiful place and how special the Island chain is out in the middle of the Pacific ocean.

We traveled over most of the island including going to the summit of Mauna Kea.  Thanks for taking me to that spectacular place considered sacred to the native culture.  We also enjoyed many good times with friends and neighbors with you in Hawaii.

We will miss your unique sense of humor and making people feel good regardless of what status they had in life.

On the afternoon of Robin’s death, our daughter , Megan Lamson Leatherman , gave birth to our sweet granddaughter , Teal Elizabeth Leatherman . It was a bittersweet day as we said farewell to our beloved  Robin and welcomed Teal with open arms and a heavy heart ! 💕💕💕💕💕💕

We at Costa’s crow shared many holidays with the Lamson family.  When the kids were young Robin reminded them of a cool Kenny Rogers!  Robin always took time to visit each (David, Diane , Sean and Lynn) asking how they were doing with genuine interest. When setting out place tags at the dinner table the question was which ROBIN sits where?  Happy flight Robin from a sisty Robin. We miss you.  Robin Costa and family.

I met Robin at Kahuku Park on one of our OVYG after school programs. He seemed a little on the pupule side and I thought this guy is gonna blend in just fine. He was also very true to his word. Having moved in to Ocean View above the park, he become our loudest advocate. In his words, "A thorn in the side of county's ass!" Sorry Madalyn but you know how he was, and so proud of it too. He treated everyone with a smile , shared jokes, and did an amazing job at getting park improvements DONE, with or without the county's help but through the tough spirit of our community lending a hand to help improve life for our kids. It was an amazing time to be a part of such huge improvements within our community. Watching it grow stronger  seeing us all come together as one. Thank you Robin for all that you have done in sharing all of YOU, to all of us. I hold my glass of red box wine high in loving thoughts of the memories you gave me. Aloha Robin!

Rest in love, Robin bird <3 You are gone from this realm but not forgotten. Your legacy will live on in your many actions to help the people and places you lived over nine decades, including and especially all the children (and grandchildren) you raised, youth and young adults that you mentored, and all the stories and witty one liners that will continue to be shared by everyone that loved you. ~ Megan Rose
