Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2013, at Holy Rosary Church; mass will begin at 10:00 a.m.; burial will follow, 11:30 a.m., at Valley Isle Memorial Park Cemetery in Haiku.
Ruby was a retired Cafeteria worker at Kalama Intermediate School. She is survived by her companion, Ty Shimabuku; son, Brandon Masanda; daughters, Darlene (Crispin) Torricer, Charlene (Darryl) Lacno, Davelynn Masanda; brother, Elmer Aquino; sister, Marcia Walters; hanai sister, Sandra (Dr. Robert) Bird; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
