Samuel “Uncle Sam” J. Weimer, Jr., of Kula, Maui, passed away on July 1, 2015 at his home, under the loving care of family and Islands Hospice. He was born on April 14, 1935, in Shamokin, Pennsylvania.
Visitations will be held from 9:00 am to 10:30 am on Friday, July 17, 2015, at Holy Ghost Mission Church in Kula; mass over urn will begin at 10:30 am. Burial to follow at a later date.
Samuel is survived by his wife, Colleen Weimer; daughters, Corrine Nahooikaika, Dorreen Weimer; brother, Irvin “Casey” (Marie) Weimer; 4 grandchildren, Pono, Keoki, Jacob, Nicole; 6 great grandchildren, Chevus, Jairus, Tydus, Justus, Kalob, and Mali’e.
