Sebastian DeCosta, 98, of Kahului, passed away on August 7, 2011 at his home under Hospice care with a lot of help from his niece, Evelyn Klask. He was born on June 11, 1913 in Kaupakalua. Sebastian was retired from the University of Hawaii, Experiment Station. He is survived by his son, Mark (Jennifer) DeCosta; sisters, Margaret Duarte, Alice Cardoza; and two grandchildren, Jonathan and Punahele DeCosta.
Visitation: Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Christ The King Catholic Church.
Services: Mass 11:00 a.m.
Interment: Burial 12:30 p.m. at the Maui Veteran's Cemetery in Makawao.
