Shelly was born in Wailuku, Maui on June 13, 1978. She is survived by her son Justin Castro (Shyann Pacheco), her grandchildren Justin Jr. (JJ), Makoa, her partner Kaeo Kauai and her siblings, Emily (m. Conrad) Ka’ai, Crystal (m. Bradley) Bal and stepfather Gilbert Silva. She also leaves behind many uncles, aunties, nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
Shelly was predeceased by her mother Brenda Silva, father Albert Castro and brother Sean Bersamin.
She was a devoted grandmother to JJ and Makoa. She also enjoyed dancing hula, laughter and time with family. Services will be held at Ballard's Mortuary on Friday, May 10, 2025 from 6pm - 8pm.
