Steven L. Kidd

Steven L. Kidd, 61, Kihei, HI passed away at home in the company of his family on December 27, 2020. Steven was born in Honolulu, HI, moved to Whitman, MA and was a 1978 graduate of Whitman-Hanson Regional High. He became a carpenter and cabinet maker after graduation.

Steven and his wife moved to Maui in 1991 to work for his father-in-law at Ceramic Tile Plus. Later he became a salesman for Kaman Industrial Tech. Steven was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his daughter.

He is survived by his daughter, Madison Kidd and her partner Avery Clodfelter; former wife, Ellie Doran Kidd; foster father, Robert Derby; siblings, Mitchell and Holly Kidd, Michael and Linda Kidd, Scott and Julie Derby, Rob Derby, Donna Perry and Cindy Kelly; father in law Allen Root, in-laws, James Doran, Georgia Doran, Edward and Kathleen Wyner, Scott and Susan Spence, Erin Tucciarone; nieces and nephews, Jacqueline Kidd, Julian Pierce Kidd, Kilara Quintanal, Mathew Derby, Morgan Derby, Calvin Derby, Jessica Kelly, Renee Kelly, Ryan Kelly, Jennifer Kelly, Jack Doran, Samuel Wyner, Courtney Spence, Sophia Tucciarone and Fiona Tucciarone and his only granddaughter Aria Katherine Clodfelter.

Steven was predeceased by his foster mother Helen Derby; siblings Kevin Kidd, Tina Kidd, biological parents Eugene and Barbara Kidd and mother in law Ellen Root.

Family service will be held in Pembroke, MA in spring 2021.
