Tony Matthew Silva Jr., 77, of Makawao, passed away on March 29, 2011, at his residence with Hospice care. He was born September 18, 1933 in Puunene. Mr. Silva retired as a Mechanical Supervisor for the State of Hawaii, Highways Division. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Silva; and is survived by his sons, Andrew Silva, Moki (Tina) Silva; daughters, Stephane (Donna) Silva, Kuuipo (Lawrence) Baisa; brother, Franklin (Val) Silva, sisters, Ann (Wally) Pu'u, Cookie (Harold) Rodrigues, Claudia (Bob) Thompson; 7 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Services: Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, April 8, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, mass at 10:30 a.m., reception to follow at the family residence.
