

He is survived by wife, Tishya Nakoa; sons, Thayne W.M. Nakoa. Thayvn M.K. Nakoa, Talyn J.K. Nakoa; hanai son, Jeremy Brown; daughters, Iesha (Jhordan) Buyat, Desire (Bryson) Lum; step mother, Brenda Kivalu; mother in law, Charleen Cadiente; brothers, Jason (Gem) Nakoa, James (Tara) Nakoa Jr., Pancho (Hitomi) Cowell, Bill (Diana) Kivalu, Brandon Witt; sisters, Doreen (Richard) Brown, Desiree Nakoa, Darcy Kamaka, Napela (Craig) Miyahira; grandchildren, Divine Lum, Journey Buyat; in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Travis was preceded in death by parents, James Nakoa Sr. and Marjorie Ann Stibbard; sister, Anita Nakoa, and brother in law, Tyson Kamaka.
A public viewing and fellowship will be held on February 16, 2024 from 9:30 am to 1 pm at Ballard Family Mortuary, Hilo Chapel. A Remembrance Service will be held on March 16, 2024 at the Key Project in Kahalu’u, HI; time to be announced at a later date.
