Willa Rosa Wiese, 83, of Hilo, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Life Care Center of Hilo. Willa was born on January 17, 1933 in West Virginia. Willa retired as an Executive Secretary. Willa was also known as the “Tv Lady” at the Hilo Hospital, the past President of Hilo Hospital Auxiliary and former Treasurer of the VFW Post #9749 Ladies Auxiliary. Celebration of Life to be held at Ballard Family Mortuary-Hilo (570 Kinoole Street Hilo, HI 96720) on Friday, September 23, 2016. Visitation starts at 5:30pm. Services start at 6:30pm. She is survived by her daughter Lloydetta (Solomon) Pakani of Hilo; brother Harry Marshall of West Virginia; sisters Shirley Nicholson of West Virginia and Elizabeth Wilson of West Virginia; 2 grandsons Jacob (Destinee) Pakani of Hilo and Matthew (Natasha Paglinawan-Poa) Pakani of Hilo; 7 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
