Yasuo Takamiya, 76, of Makawao, Maui, passed away on April 27, 2012, peacefully at his daughter’s home in Honolulu, surrounded by family. Visitation will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Ballard Family Mortuary; service will start at 5:00 p.m.
Yasuo was a retired Computer Systems Analyst for the County of Maui. He is survived by his wife, Kimiko Takamiya; daughters, Cynthia (James) Low, Lynn (Paul) Sialana, Sylvia (Greg) Lohr; his beloved grandchildren, Nicolas Low, Micah, Ian & Zoe Sialana, Matthew & Alana Lohr; mother, Masako Takamiya; brothers, Toshio Takamiya, Shigeru (Irene) Takamiya; sisters, Hiroko (Isamu) Higa, Chiyeko (Richard) Sasaoka, Setsuko (Arthur) Fujimoto, Yoshie Warren, Helen (George) Uyehara.
