John Martin Roberts, 84, of Kailua Kona, Hawai‘i, passed away on October 11, 2025, in Kailua Kona. He was born on May 10, 1941 in Oakland, California. John served our Country in the Navy and worked as an owner of several restaurants.
He is survived by son John (Lori) Roberts of Maple Valley, Washington; daughters Lareen Roberts of Kaneohe, Hawai’i; Jana (Gref) Myers of Eldorado Hills, California; sister Hannah McDonald of Arlington, Virginia; brother Sam Moore of Virginia; and five grandchildren.
Private services will be held.
