Juanita Marilyn Nelson, 81, of Kailua Kona, Hawai‘i, passed away on June 2, 2025, in Kailua Kona. She was born on September 27, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois. Juanita had a Master’s Degree in elementary education and also worked as a flight attendant. She attended and served as a greeter at Mokuaikaua Church in Kailua Kona.
She is survived by her sister Bette Firth of Oviedo, Florida; sister-in-law Margie (Bob) Martinez of Pinetop, Arizona; sister-in-law Lynore Nelson of Tucson, Arizona; and brother-in-law Marv (Debbie) Nelson of Winfield, Illinois.
Private services will be held.
