I had the honour of working with Annette at B C Tel.  She always had a smile and a laugh for everyone.  She was always a joy to be around.  While it has been many years since I had seen her, the world seems emptier without her in it.  My sincerest condolences to Todd and the rest of her family.

Annette and I started out at BC Tel together when we were very young. She was funny and smart , and I was lucky enough to become good friends with her. I remember the first time she came out with me and my brothers. We went to this crazy bar in Richmond called The Surf Cabaret and at closing the whole place erupted into a huge fight, including my brothers and their friends. The parking lot was a sheet of ice, there were people throwing punches(not landing any of course)and falling down all over the place-it was like watching a Buster Keaton movie, and I looked over at Annette, horrified at what she must be thinking, but there she was..calmly taking it all in with a slight smile. "Your brothers sure know how to show a girl a good time" was all she said. Typical Annette.Despite that evenings hijinks ,we were roommates for many years . She made our house a warm and welcoming home and the most common complaint from the neighbours was that our laughter was too loud. Thank you Annette for being my friend when I needed it the most and for making me laugh at the times that I wanted to cry. Annette helped me cope with the loss of my parents, I don't think I would have survived without her. To Mary Anne, Kenny, Todd , and the kids, on behalf of the entire Dube family, please accept my heartfelt condolences and thank you for taking care of our precious Annette.

We have had to bid her goodbye. Cheeky, funny, dear, Annette. She was a joy to know, and a delight to be around.  She could easily lift your heart and she could always find a silver lining when tested.  I am thankful to be just one of so many who loved her.  I will carry her memory always and I send my most sincere condolences to you Todd and to all of your family at the loss of your beloved Annette.  Thank you again for your gracious and generous sharing of her amazing crossing to the other side.  Love Del

Dear Todd and family,
I am so grateful for the time recently spent with my beautiful, long time friend Annette.  Throughout her illness, she always maintained her dignity, self respect and of course her sense of humour.  She was selfless and her unconditional love was felt by many.  We all know who we are and we are forever grateful to have had Annette in our lives.  I will miss her dearly, more than I can express, but I know she is at peace and will forever be in our hearts and memories.  I can't count the many times we had together laughing (yes, her snorting made me laugh even more!), singing and dancing as well as sharing tears and sad times.  Annette's journey on earth has ended, but her journey in heaven has just begun.  She is our special angel watching out for all of us. "Til we meet again"...
