Arlene Joy Marchi

We are saddened to announce the passing of our mom Arlene Joy Marchi on December 9, 2025 at Marjorie Willoughby Snowden House with her family by her side.

Mom was preceded by her parents Walter and Rosemary Drake, and her husband of 49 years Lidio in 2020.

Left to mourn her passing are her children Jason ( Kim) Marchi, Tanya (Wes) Mitchell, Amanda (Chad) Lukinchuk and her grandchildren Ryan, Ashleigh, Emilia, Dominic, Gabriel and Sofia. And her furry best friend Bandit.

Mom was born in Vancouver on March 2, 1952, but moved to Chetwynd BC, where she lived until she met and married dad on September 4, 1971. Mom spent many years working in the dental field before starting her own bookkeeping business. Mom enjoyed golf, gardening and spending her time at the lake.

Mom struggled with her grief after the loss of dad, and we can give a sigh of relief knowing they are back together again. And we all know that dad has given her an ear full on the state of his yard!

We would like to send our heartfelt appreciation to Dr Arduini and Dr Marino and all the staff at Kamloops Hospice who took incredible care of mom.

In lieu of flowers we ask that people donate to Kamloops Hospice in mom's name.

A service will be held for mom in the spring of 2026.
