In Loving Memory BARTON KEITH WICK SEPTEMBER 26, 1946 --JANUARY 19, 2021

It is with deep sorrow the family of Bart Wick announces his sudden passing at home on January 19, 2021. Bart is lovingly remembered by wife, Thelma, Sister Adele (Art), Brothers Blair, Merlynn (Shelly), Sisters-in law Barb (Bruce), Pam.

He will be missed by Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and many friends, near and far.

Bart was born September 26, 1946 in Bengough, Sask, and moved with his family to Surrey BC in 1957. He graduated from Queen Elizabeth High School in 1964 and soon joined the Royal Bank of Canada, where he made many great and loyal friends during his 39 year career with RBC.

Bart and Thelma retired to their "Little Piece of Paradise " on the shores of the Shuswap in 2003, spending many winters in Arizona, having happy times and golfing with friends.

Bart was a lover of curling bonspiels, a rack of lamb, Crown Royal on ice, and sharing his delicious homemade wine. Above all he especially enjoyed a top down drive in his yellow corvette with his wife of 52 years riding beside him.

A Celebration of Life will be announced when we can all gather together to share memories of Bart. We will miss you dearly Bart. Our memories of you will always be in our hearts.

So sorry for your loss Thelma. Bart was fun loving person and always smiling. I worked with him in the Royal Bank for a few years but do remember him. Sounds like you both had a great time living in the Okanagan.

Thelma, our condolences at your loss of Bart. We understand he had health problems. I, personally go back to high school at Q.E. with him. Many years later....your hosting of New Years Eve 1981 at your home reacquainted us. Pleased to see that Bart enjoyed retirement. He is at peace now. At this time take care of yourself now. So very sad to hear this news of Bart’s passing. I worked with him on a few projects when Bart was at the Richmond Business Banking Centre. A fine gentleman who was so professional and gracious with his time! He loved working with customers! Our sympathies to his family! RIP Bart! Pk

I remember growing up with Bart, he was my special “brother”. He would come to our house and help us with dishes along with the towel flicks. I especially remember the time he helped us plant a garden and he happened to find a worm which he proceeded to place in Thelma’s blouse pocket needless to say she was not very pleased with him. We will miss you deeply Bart and I will forever have all our memories of you. Rest In Peace Bart!

Dear Thelma,
I am in shock to learn of Bart's passing. The words of comfort are
difficult to find at this time. You are in my thoughts and know, I will be there for you.You loved each other, and made a meaningful
difference in each other's lives--that is a gift that no loss or sorrow,
or time or distance can ever take away.
Let the tears fall, they are a gentle reminder how much you loved
each other.
Much love and hugs,
