My mom (Linda Whiteside) and I were going through pictures and found some of mother Campbell and her kids which lead us to find this obituary. Such a wonderful lady that we all hold very fond memories of from our younger years. Xo

Sorry to hear about Emily's passing. Our family has known your mother since a very young age and we all lived in the Ashcroft area for many years.
We baby sat you children when you were very young and have kept track of your mom through Sonny and Connie and Kaye in Cache Creek.
As death is part of the eternal cycle of life, we remember Emily and all of your family.

My very first memories of Aunt Em are from our family trip to Armstrong, BC.  Though it is only the horseback riding adventures with Doug that stand out clearly -- I do remember my impressions of aunt Em -- that she was fun, loving, and that she "lived-outloud."  One thing is for sure - from that time on I was endeared to Aunt Em and always looked forward to being in her company when opportunities arose.  I spent one summer working at the Husky in Strathmore, which only deepened my love for Aunt Em who took me in like her daughter.  Her great sense of humour ensured that there was a lot of laughing going on, but she also had a sensitive, discerning spirit to know when care and comfort would best be administered. Aunt Em was a very special woman, my life is richer for having spent time with her.

Auntie Emily we love you and will always miss you. My cousins, your mother was very kind and helpful to me after mom's passing and I will always treasure the time we spent together. Our deep condolence to each of you in this loss of your mother, grandmother, auntie, sister. May her memory, her humor and determination be of help to you in the days ahead.
