Gertie passed away peacefully in Kamloops, B.C., on the morning of Jan 8, 2015 in her 88th year.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Evelyn Sawchuk, Mary Kristjanson , Helen(Gary) Gow and Carol(Norman) Kristjanson and her 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, as well as her brothers Roger and Marcel Fay.
Gertie was predeceased by her husband Bill, son Wayne, partner Robert Finlay, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
The family would like to thank Dr. R.P. Farrell for his loving and expert care of our mother.
