My nephew Gordon Harder is one of the gentlest men I have ever known. My husband John and I are deeply saddened by the news of his death. A few years ago when his Mom, my sister Anne, died he produced a most loving remembrance of her life, a pictorial-musical collage of slides. He and his first wife visited us in Rome Italy in the early 1980s. We got to know him well as a very caring and thoughtful person. The world is poorer by his passing. Aunt Susie.

I didn’t know Gord very well, but his dad and mine were brothers. It was a complicated family, like most, with inter-generational trauma taking its toll. I remember Gord as a fun-loving person with a ready smile and a sense of humour not necessarily typical in the Harder clan. Condolences to those who were close to him, and may you find comfort and peace.

Gordy created a magical place he named “West Bay Whiffle Ball Course” ...a work of creative genius that will be enjoyed by many for years to come. XO

Gordon was a very good friend of my brother Stu Archer. He was so kind & helpful to my sister Judy & me when our brother died in Whistler in 2009. I'm so sorry for your loss.
