My condolences go out to the Shantz family for the schocking and untimely passing of Gordon. Gord and I were roommates and moved to Kamloops, BC going on 30 years ago from Edmonton, AB looking for change of scene and adventure. I decided to go to college and Gord started career in a automotive shop and decided to stay in Kamloops. I graduated and moved on but I always kept in touch with Gord until 2016. Since then he disappeared from the map where I wonderd if everything was ok. I have fond memories hanging out during the highschool years where Gord would always make you laugh with a great sense of humor. You will be dearly missed old friend.
