Predeceased by his two brothers Gordon and Bruce and one child.
Harold spent most of his adult life in BC and Alberta in the trucking, logging and oil businesses. With hard work and aligning himself with good people along the way Harold succeeded at one of his proudest accomplishments, he established a successful business, Aurora transport, in Grande Prairie, where he earned a lifetime membership to the Grande Prairie Petroleum Association in recognition of individual contributions to the success of the association. He enjoyed work until his retirement where he lived half the year in Arizona and the other half was spent living a quiet life with his wife on the lake in Chase, BC.
Harold enjoyed his life, he loved to travel, he went many places around the world and travelled many miles across country in his motorhome with his loving wife.
He loved country music, golfing, fishing, hunting, boating and having good laughs and fun times being with his family and friends and of course he loved Happy Hour.
Harold was an old school true gentleman. He was generous, humble, kind, warm, caring, funny and loving. He was a man who loved his work, his family, his home and his life.
Throughout his journey he shared a love that was genuine and sincere to everyone who crossed his path and was admired by all. He will truly be missed.
The family will hold a celebration of life in the spring/summer date to be decided.
In lieu of flowers, Donations to the Chase Lions Club would be greatly appreciated, as the family would like to acknowledge the great help they gave during this time.
