Jordan Wayne Blundell “Jordy” passed away suddenly on April 20, 2026, leaving behind a family and community who loved him deeply and will miss him beyond words.
Born on December 25, 1973, in Squamish to his loving parents David and Kathryn Blundell, Jordy brought warmth, laughter, and light into the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. He had a heart full of empathy and kindness, and he lived his life with generosity toward others. Jordy was the kind of person who made people feel welcome, valued, and understood.
He will be remembered for his incredible sense of humor, his unforgettable smile, and his unique ability to brighten every room he entered. Jordy had a gift for uplifting those around him, often offering comfort, encouragement, or laughter exactly when it was needed most. His presence made life better, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him.
Jordy held a deep love for the mountains and the natural beauty of his hometown. In honor of that connection, the family will be holding a private and intimate service in the mountains of the beautiful Pemberton Valley, a place that always brought him peace and happiness. The family will also be organizing a celebration of life for beloved friends to be determined at a later date. Please follow Jordy’s sisters, Jessica Blundell Ross and Brooke Blundell’s Facebook pages for more information.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that donations be made in Jordy’s memory to the Rick Hansen Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
