It was certainly a big shock for me yesterday, to hear of Francois' passing.  I worked with Francois for many years, the latter years only crossing paths as we worked in different departments.  Yet, because of that French accent, you always knew when he was just around the corner.    During our earlier years, it was my job to gather files, and match mail for him.  I always appreciated his kind manner when, on occasion, he had to point out my "occasional" errors.  To Francois' family......please accept my sincere condolences.  Ursula Strautman

It's the little things, the small, everyday occurrences that you'll remember. The laughs, the stories, the smiles. And even though it seems like you can never recover from your loss, it is these very memories that will help push the pain away and bring back the smiles.  My thoughts are with the friends & family of Francois.  I will always remember his laughter, smiles, humour, kindness and genuine caring for others.  He will be missed a lot.

It is difficult to put into words the measure of a good man but I do know that Francois will always be remembered for being not only a good man but a good friend and co-worker.To his family remember that we never lose the people we love. They live the rest of our lives with us in our hearts.

I worked with Francois for nearly 30 years.  One of my most striking memories of Francois was that he was one of the 1st guys I knew to take parental leave when his children were born.  A man who truly had his priorities straight.  Such a loving father will be missed.

I was saddened to hear of Francois's passing and the loss to family and friends. May he rest in peace.  To the family, know your dad made so many people happy by being who he was.

Francois put a smile in the hearts of all who knew him. I will miss you Francois, and always smile when I think of you.

While I didn't know you that well, when I did meet you upon my return from maternity leave, I knew the kind of person you were immediately. You were passionate, kind and lighthearted. Though I didn't get the chance to know you as well as I wish I had, I have learned from you how important it is to be engaging with the people you're surrounded by. Francois was a hilarious and easy going co-worker. He was the kind of person who truly wanted to get to know you and cared what you had to say. I will miss your email jokes and quips and extend my warmest sympathies to the Dubois family.

For twelve years we worked together and my lasting memory of Francois will be how he spoke so proudly of his children, their dreams and their accomplishments. You were very fortunate to have so caring a father. You will sorely miss him but you are well prepared for your own journey in life thanks to his efforts.

Francois was taken from us much too young.  I am thankful for knowing him, and know that he is welcomed with open arms to his next life.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.  Thank you Jesus for the gift you gave us in our time with Francois.

I worked closely with Francois for 20 years and have nothing but wonderful memories of him.  I fondly remember his firm handshake at Christmas time every year as we wished eachother and our families a joyous holiday season.  And of course our hockey conversations - Francois being a Nordiques fan and I a Canadiens fan.  My heartfelt condolences to you and your family at this time.

This news is devastating.  Francois was a true friend and a great co-worker.  I can't believe he is gone.  My deepest condolences to his wife and children and his siblings.  May God bless them all and keep them safe.

My sincere sympathies to François' family - I'm so sorry for your loss. 

I have only fond memories of François.  I came to know him as a person that cared about the people he worked with and the people he worked for.  He was quick with a smile and always willing to help.  He will be missed.

Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel about François passing.  Know that we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers and honoring the memory of François.

For a man I worked with for more than a dozen years, it took a long time to get to know Francois.  He sat so quietly there in his cubicle, gazing out the window while he clipped his nails.  I sometimes wondered if he had any nails left!  Although he kept much to himself, when he decided to make a statement, he did it with flare!  I will never forget the team meeting we had there in Saskatoon where the very first mention of relocation was released.  He popped his hand in the air before the words were even completely spoken.  "I'll go to Kamloops!"  haha.. we all laughed.  "No, I mean it.. put my name down right now!"  again... giggle giggle...  but he was never more serious!  Although I'm glad he got his wish, I also wish he were still here so that we, his friends and co-workers could be there with his family as they say good bye.  Rest peacefully, Francois.  (oh, and I still get goosebumps remembering how he pronounced my name with his accent!)

Our family was very saddened to hear of Francois' passing.  He was such a vibrant man who had an amazing amount of compassion for everyone around him, but especially the claimants that he dealt with.  Our thoughts are with his children.  He spoke of you often and said that what he did, he did for you.  May you find comfort in the memories of your dad.

Francois greatest joy was to make people laugh.  He will be very missed by his Kamloops work family.
