Mrs. Maria Onofrillo Liberatore

Maria will be lovingly remembered by her children Francesco, Celestina (Bob), and Giuseppe. Maria will also be fondly remembered by her beloved grandchildren, Bianca (Zack) and Scott, and by her sisters, Rosa (Donato), Vincenzina (Rodolfo), Elena (Gennaro), and Vanda (Tommaso), numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. Maria was predeceased by her husband, Denio, Father, Giuseppe Onofrillo, Mother, Santina Masciantonio, brother Domenico, and sister Anna.

Maria was born on August 6, 1935 in Casoli, Abruzzo, Italy to Giuseppe and Santina Onofrillo. On September 15, 1962 in Ovindoli, she married her beloved husband Denio, and together they began a fantastic journey that took them to Canada, first to Blue River, and finally to Kamloops. Maria was a loving, caring altruistic person who loved life; a beautiful human being who loved to share her love of cooking, family, gardening, and laughter with everyone. She will be forever in our hearts, never to be forgotten.

A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, May 4, at 7:00 p.m., at Sacred Heart Cathedral. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 5, at 11:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Cathedral with Fr. Pendleton celebrant . Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery.
