Slim was a long time resident of Kamloops and shared his last 20 years with Sabine Hadgkiss, his care-giver and companion.
Slim is survived by his brothers: Bill, Fred, Buckles, Wayne, David, Stanley and Raymond, his sisters: Linda, Marlene, Celestine, Jackie, Angeline (Sah-was), Jayne-Marie, Sophie, Priscilla and Phyllis. Predeceased by parents Joe and Mary-Anne and sister Jennifer.
Slim will be greatly missed and always remembered by all who knew and loved him. He will be remembered for riding his bike, caring for animals, dancing and singing at the top of his lungs.
The wake will be at Moccasin Square Gardens, 355 Yellowhead Hwy., Sunday June 15, 2014 starting at 11:00 a.m.
Funeral will be held at St Joseph's Church, Tuesday June 17, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at Moccasin Square Gardens.
