Well Daddy Dan today is the day its been a whole year since you've been gone. & its been one hell of a year, lots of smile but tons of heart ache for how much you've been missed. Even though i know your there every day by our sides looking down on us, its just not the same without you. I wish we could all wake up and it all just be a big bad dream, and everything could back to normal, all those 4 am "up time" text messages and how shocked you'd get when i was actually awake. Somebody to bug when ya wanted to horse around.. But since you've been gone we've done a lot that'd you'd be proud of, and i know you are! Looking over us each and everyday.

To my life partner, my husband, my best friend and my cowboy. Happy birthday honey!  It's been a hell of a ride for the last six months. We miss you everyday and remember all the great things that you taught us in life. The girls are making sure your life lessons continue on and that the Dan way carries on. When we travel and watch the stars, the moon and the animals we think of you! At the rodeos you are with us and often we look out over the stock pen and look for you. Even though we know you will not be there. Today we will celebrate your Birthday even though you can't be here with us. We got Bob and we are going to make this a day of celebration. Thank you for all the special memories that you left with us. Everytime I see a wild horse running I think of you and know that you are truly free. We love you more than works can say. I know you are with your mother Linda grandma, grandpa, and loved ones. You are also their with my sister Tina and my brother Shane, my grandparents, the aunts and the uncles playing in the band. We learned early on how our family knew each other at my grandmas funeral and uncle Toms. It was like we were meant to be together. We shared so much love so much life. You will always be my love and such a huge part of all our lives. I know that the impact you had on our children will make a difference and they will make you proud. You were the best thing to us in the world, a heart of gold and a wicked sense of humour. Could be tough and could be soft, laughing at all the crazy things we have done in our lives . I am so saddened by the news of Dan's passing. I new Dan over 20 years ago when we worked together in Surrey. Dan was a wonderful young man that I always felt was an "old spirit". He had a wonderful work ethic and treated people with respect. I only new Dan for a short time but he touched my heart. My condolences to his family and friends. My heart breaks for you.

Dan was a true Angel in disguise among us; he is now in the loving arms of his maker and close to his beautiful mother, riding the great range in the sky ... he will be missed every day  and remembered for his gentleness and kind, true-blue heart... RIP we will meet again.  Condolences to family and friends, may God speed peace to you at this time of grief remembering his spirit is at peace and free, soaring with the eagles and running with the wild horses...

I remember Danny as a baby; he was so sweet, tiny, and innocent. Bobby, Linda and all of the family loved him dearly.

Danny was the perpetual sparkle in Bobby and Linda's eyes. As a baby I remember how tiny, sweet, and innocent he was: the perfect 'Little Man'. He grew into an adorable toddler who became an irresistible young man. Bill, Heather, and Ronalee always spoke so highly and proudly when Danny was the topic.

Although in the last twenty or so years, much of Danny's life was a mystery to me, there was always the mentioning of how loved he was and of what a wonderful man Dan grew to being.

I am sincerely saddened by his passing and can only imagine how all his family and friends are feeling at this time. Perhaps to believe that Dan is now with his loving Mother will bring some comfort to those whose hearts that are breaking.

Dear Jolene and Bob and family. I can't seem to find the words to tell you how sorry I am to hear about the passing of Danny (as we knew him) here at Bob's home in Keremeos.  It was a shock to all of us who heard so much about the son of everyones dreams from his Dad.  All Bob's friends here at home in Keremeos want Bob to know how much we care and miss him.
