It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Ku’ulei Sakai-Feiteira, a beloved wife, mother, nana, sister, and friend, who left us on January 25, 2025, at the age of 72. Carol was born in Hilo, Hawaii, to the late Edward and Mary Sakai. Carol’s greatest joy was her family, and she dedicated her life to being a loving wife and nurturing mother to her two children, Edward and Mari. She was also the proud and doting grandmother of two grandchildren, who brought her immense happiness. Known for her aloha, Carol embodied the values of compassion, warmth, and generosity, touching the lives of others in countless meaningful ways. Her gentle spirit, kind heart, and unwavering support will truly be missed.
A visitation will be held at Hawaiian Memorial Park on April 18, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a memorial service and burial.
