Peace and love to FHS 1960 classmate Charlene Arita.

Charlene, you were a treasured friend when I went to Puuhale School for the first time in the 6th grade. We laughed so much, you the mischievous one, as we had "nap time " on denim sleeping bags on the school porch. You, Diane and I threw apples or oranges from lunch but were a headache for our teacher. I will always remember your smile and your sincere friendship. May God be with you, dear Charlene.

Manang,
How I loved talking estoria with you about old school days, old boyfriends, and gossiping with laughter. And spending time at first Fridays. I miss you so much. 😢 We'll be able to hang out again one day. Salamat for being my friend since Kalakaua Intermediate and for the blouses! I'll see you when I see you again. Much ❤️.
