Age 90, Clarence Chai Wha Park passed away on December 22, 2022. He worked as a draftsman for the City Planning Department, served as a captain in the Vietnam War, and retired as a colonel for the Hawaii Army National Guard. Clarence enjoyed playing golf, dancing, cooking, hosting family gatherings, looked forward to his trips to Las Vegas, supported his children in their careers and endeavors, and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Clarence is survived by sister Florence Kaukola, brother Carl Park (Charlotte), son Michael (Julie), daughter Diane (Kong Tan), and grandchildren Jodi, Jason (Shiyoon) and Jensen.
Services will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Hawaiian Memorial Park. Visitation will be at 11:30 am and service will start at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow at the Hawaii State Veteran’s Cemetery in Kaneohe at 2:00 pm. Please RSVP your attendance by January 22 to [email protected]. Masks are required.
