Sending  my sympathy to each member of Connie's family 
Most of my memories of Connie stretch back from the 1940's - into the early 1950's when my father would drive our family, to Dagus Mines, PA, for a 3-day weekend to spend time with the  Hrusth, Johnson,  Hardy, Lipsey,  and Vollmer families (such as Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day, or sometimes Christmas.)  While visiting  Dagus, in the early1950's my Aunt, Mary Jane Hrusth, Connie's mother, would often drive 'us kids' - including  Connie, Susie, plus siblings, Carol and Donald Hardy, my sister, Mary, and me - up a very steep hill to attend Sunday School at Maria Lutheran Church,   I also remember being invited to lunch at aunt Mary Jane and uncle John Hrusth's house (on Scotland Street)  where, along with her mom and dad, Connie grew up with her sister,  Susie, and brother, Jack.   I have wonderful memories of those days gone by and feel blessed to have had not only good parents, but also a 'flock' of aunts, uncles, and cousins from Elk County, PA.  The last time I saw Connie, her sister, brother, and other Lipsey cousins, was years ago at her mother's funeral.  Although many relatives have passed, good memories of each of them remain.
