

Daisy Jane Nashion Reeder, age 59, died peacefully surrounded by her family on May 5th, 2022 after a courageous battle of surgical complications. Daisy was born September 17th, 1962 in Majurirok, Jaluit Atoll of the Marshall Islands to Jetmar Nashion and Tersey Lemae. She lived a life of fulfillment and achievement. Achievements include receiving her piloting certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in 1992; serving as an interpreter for the Marshallese community; happily married to her husband and raising a family. Her greatest accomplishment was becoming a naturalized United States Citizen in 2012.
Daisy has been married to her life partner Dennis since 2001 although their love has spanned even beyond. Her legacy is survived by her husband, three sons, two daughters, her pet, and many grandchildren. She is also survived by her four brothers and four sisters that will also continue her legacy to their own children and grandchildren.
Besides spending time with her family, Daisy was Deaconess of the Waikiki Marshallese Assembly of God was an avid and devout follower of Christ within her church. She was the proud national treasurer of the Jar in Ebolemen and the president of the Hawaii Mahalo Jar in Ebolemen. As such, she was a well-respected woman within her community. Deaconess Daisy had a bright, unique, and energetic personality. She often extended herself to help those in need no matter the situation. The lives that she touched are forever marked with her generosity, kindness, and love within their hearts.
Family and friends are invited to join in the celebration of her life Tuesday, May 17 from 10am-3pm at the Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery in Kaneohe where she will be laid to rest alongside her parents.
