Erica Meja Holbron, 46, was born on November 6, 1979, in North Carolina, and passed away on July 2, 2026. She will be remembered as a beloved presence whose steady warmth, thoughtful care, and compassionate spirit touched the lives of many. With a gentle way of being and a patient heart, Erica offered comfort without fanfare—meeting others with kindness, listening with sincerity, and giving of herself in ways both quiet and enduring. Her resilience carried her through life’s demands with grace, and her faithful devotion to those she loved remained constant. Even in serious moments, her sense of humor could bring light, reminding family and friends that tenderness and strength can live side by side.
Erica’s hard work was evident throughout her years of employment, including work at Kikuya, Safeway, Long's, Next-Gen Pest Control, and Kilauea Pest Control. Through each role, she showed a dependable spirit and a conscientious dedication—doing what needed to be done, doing it well, and doing it with consideration for others. In these everyday commitments, she offered an example that was quietly inspirational: a life shaped by perseverance, service, and care.
Erica was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia C. Overstreet, and her brother, Bjorn Ericksen. She is survived by her spouse, Chase Holbron; her daughters, Erica-Joy Holbron and Chaslynn Holbron; her father, Erling Ericksen; her stepmother, Eloise Yoshino-Ericksen; her brother, Evan Wong; and her sisters, Jenna Wong and Kristen Wong.
