Faleiva Afoa, Sr, age 81, gained his wings peacefully on Thursday October 19, 2023, at home with his loved ones right alongside him, in New Braunfels, Texas. He was born on December 18, 1941, in Utulei, American Samoa. He married Sama Levaomana Vavao Afoa in Leone, American Samoa.
Faleiva Afoa, Sr. lived a long 81 years of his life, and truly lived it to its fullest. He was a mighty man of Jesus Christ and dedicated most of his time to fulfill the will of our Lord & Savior. He loved traveling, going on vacations, reading his bible, going to church, cooking, planting and harvesting, but most of all spending time with family. Faleiva was known as a wise, hard-working, and funny old man, but was known mostly for his huge giving heart.
He is survived by his wife, Sama; children, Toia (Narceen) Afoa, Lafi (Tanya) Afoa, Raynette Mckenzie, and Freddy Afoa; daughter-in-law Mary "Fale(deceased)" Afoa; many siblings, grandkids, great grandkids, and family.
Family and friends, and others whose lives Faleiva Sr. has touched are invited to the HAWAIIAN MEMORIAL PARK 45-425 Kamehameha Hwy Kaneohe, Hi 96744, from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. On Saturday November 18, 2023, to celebrate his life.
