On Wednesday, April 28, 2021, Georgia D. Pedrina-Nickle, 70 years old, passed away in her home surrounded by her husband, children and grandchildren. Georgia battled stage 4 colon cancer and was at peace with her decision to enjoy her remaining time with her family. Georgia worked with Trade Wind Tours, was retired from United Airlines, and recently retired from Hoku’s restaurant at the Kahala Hotel. Georgia’s smile, sweet soul and genuine kindness impacted so many people. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, wife, friend, sister, and daughter. Although she is no longer physically here with us, she will continue to touch everyone in her life through those she left behind. Georgia was preceded in death by her mother, Luz and father, Raymond. Georgia is survived by her husband, David Nickle, daughters
Karie Ochoa and Ashley Nickle; son-in-laws Alexander Ochoa and Henry Featheran; grandchildren Keahonui, ‘Imipono, ‘Alohilani, Wailana, Haweo, and Koleamakamae. She is also survived by her siblings Evelyn Bortoff, Angeline Haia, Sierra Setphens-Stover, Helen Garrigan, Henry Pedrina, Melita Pedrina, Luzette Pedrina, Christine DeMello, and Richard Pedrina. She is survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own, as well as many friends whom she considered family.
Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Hawaiian Memorial Park in Kaneohe, HI.
