Jessica Leslie Moore

With deep love and sadness, we announce the passing of Jessica Leslie Moore on August 3, 2026, at the age of 48. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to parents Lawrence and Nancy Moore, Jessica was the youngest of three cherished daughters.

Jessica graduated from Punahou School in 1996 and from the University of Washington in 2000. While attending UW, Jessica met her loving husband, Joseph Mullenix. After building careers in Washington and California, it took 18 years before they realized Jessica’s dream of moving back home to Honolulu.

Jessica and Joe loved to travel, visiting many countries, with their latest trip being to Australia. They both loved hiking, going to the beach, attending sporting events, and hanging out with friends. Their love of cats was obvious through their five rescue fur babies: Jet, Orange, Gray, Cava, and Peggy.

Jessica had a generous heart and beautiful soul. She’ll be remembered as quiet, humble, witty, kind, hardworking, helpful, and always thoughtful of others before herself. She enjoyed decorating and design, and nothing in her home was unorganized.

She is survived by her mother, Nancy Moore (Eugene); beloved sisters, Tina Anderson (Jeffrey) and Melissa Moore (Michele); nephew, Chandler Anderson; niece, Caitlin Anderson; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

We are grateful to Jessica’s forever friends, classmates, and family for all their love, support, guidance, and visits throughout her challenging illness. We know Jessica will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and hope her memory remains in their hearts forever.

A Celebration of Life and fundraiser will be held at Hana Koa Brewing Co. on September 15, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Brain Tumor Society, the American Cancer Society, or the Hawaiian Humane Society
