She was born in Batac, Ilocos Norte.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Celedonio Asuncion and daughters, Mattie (Leslie) Yoshioka and Felita (Kawika) Gapero.
She is survived by her children, Cecil (Peggi) Asuncion and Elaine (Wayne) Yamaguchi, 6 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
Services will be at 11am on November 20, 2026 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery 45-425 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744.
