Rest in paradise my friend. I’m so blessed to have called you a friend. As Jen, Chas and I sat there at your celebration of life and listened to Kalena’s memories we were quickly sent back in time to those moments with you. Tears and laughter was quickly escaping us as we could remember those moments so clear. You were a blast to be around. The night we went to the haunted house I can remember like it was yesterday. Walking in the hall ways at castle as freshmen, you being serenaded to in music room, your readiness to lick anyone to defend someone, hiding in the back of the truck because you were only allowed on passenger. Oh every memory came at us and it was great to laugh in this time of sorrow. As time passed and we all went our different ways, having kids and families it was like no time passed if we saw each other.  I always loved that if you saw my I could hear my name being called from the ocean “Mcken” and I knew that’s kalia. A conversation would take place and it was never awkward but pleasant as I would always try to get you to join us at a girls night out. Miss you my friend. 

Back in da day when we would all gather at Aunty Nina and Uncle Roberts hale drinking beer, eating pupu’s, sharing our love and laughter with one another, and watching you, Kalia and your cousin Kalena playing, running around and having your own fun with each other! It was a blessing having those precious moments etched on my heart forever! ❤️🥰
Thank you very much, Kalia for also introducing yourself to your Cousin Brad. He came home from school one afternoon and said, Ma I met a cousin of mine in school today, and her name is Kalia! Right off the bat I knew he was talking about you! 🙂 I’m so happy he got to meet you! 💝 loving you forever, Kalia!
