Kathy brought life to our broken family. I will always love and miss my big sister.

Kathy, we miss you and Jason every day. Our lives have changed a lot over the past years, but your kindness, laughter, and all of your advice to your little brother have helped me through these days. I found some pictures from Colorado when I helped Jason with Senior Day.

     God had a wonderful plan when He chose you to be my sister.Your kindness, laughter and perseverance were just a few of the many characteristics that made you who you were.
     You were an amazing mom, daughter, sister and a friend to so so many.You selflessly served our country and your community.
      I will treasure the precious time we had to together which included talking about our Lord.
      May you bask in God's paradise there in Heaven.Until we meet again, Sis.Much love to you always❤️

Kathy and I have been friends since we were 16 & 17 years old.
She was the adventurous one; the fun one with an easy laugh; the one that went after her dream life in one of the most glorious places in the world.
Life happened and we went our separate ways but as luck would have it we found each other again and again over the years. I loved my friend and all things quirky about her.
Love of her family, friends and community was what brought her happiness.
I hope you know that I am thinking about you today...and every day that follows.
I miss you so much already my friend...the world got quieter and more lonely without you.
I know that wherever you are, someone was there waiting for you with open and loving arms.
Until we find each other...again.

We first met Rob and Kat at our first Woodie installation dinner. We were surprised to meet a couple from Hawaii and then to find out they were from Waimanalo, our favorite place. That was the beginning of a great friendship. When we were married in Waimanalo, Kat taught everyone to make leis for the ceremony and made sure Alan had the correct lei. Over the years we have stayed at each others houses. Kat had a special place near the heater in the winter! When we hosted the Woodie party she was as much a hostess and I was. We watched her real estate endeavors and were amazed at her ability to handle all the buy and sell by herself.  She was always ready for a party whether a little one at the Crows Nest or big one at our or her house. Mostly we will miss her kindness and her smile.

Jason shared one of his most treasured moments of him and his mom together.

     Kathy will always be my big sister because God wrote that in stone the day He made us.
     My big sister gave her all to her family and no one knows that better than me her little brother.She will always be my inspiration and I will forever love her.In my thoughts I still see her smiling and laughing.She lit up our lives.She knew what to say and what to do to get us to smile or laugh.Just the other day Jason and I were crying and talking about her.We were both sharing one of our stories about her and then as a little brother does I brought up she could be a bad ass too like one of those movie heroes.She could be on a plane that some dirt bag tries to hijack and because of military and police training she jumps into action and you know rest.And then we both started laughing and crying again.
     My heart goes out to all of you who knew her and especially to her boyfriend Rob who loved her and has shown it in so many ways.Thank you Rob and know that you are now my big brother for life.

Kathy will always be remembered  as a vibrant, funny and carefree person. She was a great friend and loving lady.  The world is less  without her. Rest in Love my friend.

In loving memory of our sister Kathy who was a devoted mother to her son Jason and dedicated her caring devotion to him. She lived her life through many of his accomplishments. She was dedicated to caring for our elderly mother throughout these past years. If there was a way to turn back time we would have spent more time together. She also talked about her boyfriend Rob and how much he  meant to her and the times they had and did together.

Kathy lived a wonderful life  complete with treasured friends, a loving family and wonderful partner. Both a military veteran and a devoted public servant with HPD, Kathy’s contributions to her fellow man describes what type of person she was. She cherished her friendships and gave more than she got. We will miss her quick smile, her infectious laugh and her ability to light up any room. Until we meet again my friend. We love you.
