

He was born on December 18, 1941, in Waipahu, Hawaiʻi, the first son of Leopoldo Revestir and Alberta (Aneuber) Revestir. Leo graduated from Castle High School in 1960 and served in the Army from 1964 to 1970. On September 29, 1973, Leo married Betty Jene Bundalian at St. John the Baptist in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. Leo worked as a longshoreman and wharf clerk for 48 years until his retirement in 2022.
Leo is survived by his wife, Betty Jene Revestir; his sons, Jason Revestir and Jonathan Revestir; his grandchildren, Evan Revestir and Emma Revestir; his sisters, Gerry (Revestir) Rottjer and Linda (Revestir) Harvest; and his brothers, Lawrence Revestir and Herbert Revestir. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Revestir.
Services for Leo will be held at St. Ann Church in Kāneʻohe, Hawaiʻi, on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Public visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Eulogy and Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow. A private service will be held at a later date, at which time Leo will be interred at his final resting place at the Hawaiʻi State Veterans Cemetery in Kāneʻohe, Hawaiʻi.
