Leonilla C. Eligio, 90, of Hawaii, passed away on September 8, 2026. Born in Hilo, Hawaii, she was the shy oldest sister of six half-siblings.
She retired after working in retail at the Navy Exchange (NEX). A faithful wife and beloved mother, she cherished her family, especially her grandchildren.
Leonilla was predeceased by her husband, Bienvenido Eligio Sr., and her daughter, Delia Jarvis. She is survived by her sons Benny Eligio, Bienvenido Eligio Jr., and John Eligio; grandchildren Avis, Derek, Kyle, and Marisa; and great-grandchildren Onalia and Koa.
A celebration of life was held on October 18, 2026. She will be interred with her husband on November 20 at the Hawaiian Memorial Park Veterans Columbarium.
