Born on Lanai and raised in Maui, Lucille attended Honolulu Business College, laying a practical foundation that served her well throughout her life.
Lucille worked as an administrative secretary for Athletic supply, a role that reflected her dependable nature and the quiet strength she brought to every responsibility.
Lucille was married to andreas Gumpfer. Together they built a large and loving family, and Lucille’s legacy continues through 7 children, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchirldren, and 1 great great grandchild.
In her personal time, Lucille found joy and comfort in baking, sewing, and any needlework—simple, steady pursuits that mirrored the care she so naturally gave to those around her.
Visitation will be held at Hawaiian Memorial Park Chapel, 45-425 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744, on April 2, 2026, at 9:00 am. A Funeral Service will follow at Hawaiian Memorial Park Funeral Service, 45-425 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, HI 96744, US, on April 2, 2026, at 9:30 am. A Committal Service will take place at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery, 45-425 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744, on April 2, 2026, at 11:00 am.
