Lynn Mitsue Tamashiro, 93, passed away on February 29 at Kaiser Moanalua Hospital. Born in Waipahu, Oahu, she was a homemaker for most of her life, eventually working in various clerical jobs until her retirement from Kaiser Honolulu Clinic. She spent her retirement years babysitting her many grandchildren as well as gardening, taking especially good care of her Gardenia shrubs, her pride and joy. She was predeceased by her husband, Masato. She is survived by her sons, Garrett and Clayton (Cynthia), her daughters, Susan Hunt, Julie (Mark) Ono and Cherise Kang, thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Betsy Tsuhako and Toyoko Nagamine. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, March 30 at Hawaiian Memorial Park. Visitation at 10:00. Service at 11:00. Private burial services will be held at a later date.
