Norma was born on April 23, 1945, in Hilo, Hawaii to Eufracio and Consita Bonga.
She graduated from Farrington Highschool in 1963 and then went on to Honolulu Business School before beginning her career. Norma retired as a Human Resources Specialist at Bank of Hawaii and then went on to a second career working for the State of Hawaii Judiciary where she later retired in 2015. She enjoyed travelling, crafting, shopping and spending time with her family.
Norma is survived by her children Monica Kaui Baron, Benjamin (Amelia) Caravalho, Jr., Michael (Rachael) Caravalho, Anne-Marie Caravalho, and Michelle (Kai) Kaikaka; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother Leroy (Diane) Bonga, and sisters Elaine (Randy) Baltero and Pauline Efhan. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Benjamin Caravalho, her parents, Consita and Eufracio and brothers Junior, Ernest and Alfred.
