ROBERT S. DEPONTE, SR., 92, of Ewa Beach passed away at home on February 9, 2025. He was the youngest of the nine children of Manuel and Olympia DePonte of Honolulu. He graduated from McKinley High School in 1952. After a brief stint in the U.S. Coast Guard, he worked as a glazier in Honolulu for over 30 years.
Bob is survived by May, his wife of 65 years; sons Robert Jr. (Rosie Parker), Steven (Michael Mebane) and Timothy; grandchildren Robert III “Kolu” (Jade), Sarah, Kaimilani and Kaleialoha; great-grandchildren Keola and Ohia May; brothers John of Waialua and Albert of California; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 10:00 am; Funeral Mass and Inurnment: 11:00 am on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Kaneohe. Aloha attire. No flowers.
