Rosalina “Rose” Obado Edralin, 82, was born on October 10, 1943, in the Philippines, and passed away on February 23, 2026. A beloved, compassionate, hard-working, generous, and kind-hearted woman, Rose will be remembered with deep respect and lasting affection by all who knew her.
Born and raised in the philippines, Rose carried her roots with pride throughout her life.
Rose worked at Frankie’s Drive-In in Waimanalo, Kaneshiro Egg Farm, and later retired from the Prince Kuhio Hotel in Housekeeping. Her steady work ethic and dedication were evident in all she did.
Rose married her husband Atamante Edralin Sr. and moved to hawaii. She had two brothers and one sister. She was the proud mother of Ata Edralin (Stacey), Chico Edralin (Cindy), Nani Giesseman (Paul), Edith Edralin, and Trisha Kim (Sam). She was also blessed with 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Faith and family were central to Rose’s life. She enjoyed attending Mass every saturday evening at St George Catholic Church. She also found joy in the kitchen and was especially known for cooking her filipino spaghetti and lumpia.
Rose always remembered everyone’s birthday and was often the first to call with warm wishes. She carried a positive attitude and a smile wherever she went, leaving behind a legacy of thoughtfulness, encouragement, and love.
Visitation will be held at St. George Church, 41-1323 Kalanianaole Highway, Waimanalo, Hawaii 96795, on April 16, 2026, beginning at 9:30 am. A Funeral Service will follow at the same location on April 16, 2026, beginning at 10:45 am. A Committal Service will be held at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery, 45-425 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, HI 96744, US, on April 16, 2026, beginning at 2:00 pm.
