Russell is survived by Jolyn, his wife of 44 years, sons Michael and Kevin, daughter Kimberly, and 5 furbabies. He is also survived by brother Allen Leong and sister-in-law Doreen Ono-Suenishi (Karl). He is preceded in death by April S. K. Leong (mother) and Henry C. P. Leong (father).
Born in Honolulu, Russell worked at Oahu Transit Service for 42 years. Russell and Jolyn enjoyed traveling to many countries like Alaska, Australia, New Zealand, Iceland, Singapore, Japan and Europe.
In addition to his family and furbabies, Russell enjoyed playing tennis as well as supporting Boy Scouts Troop 49.
Visitation will be at 9:30am on Saturday, 1/18/25 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Chapel in Kaneohe and services to follow at 10:30am. Burial will be private at 1pm.
