Sesario Cabanilla Parinas Jr. passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 76. Born March 4, 1950, in Lanai City, Hawaii, he later made his home in Honolulu, Hawaii. He will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who had the privilege to know him.
Those closest to him knew a man of steady courage and quiet strength—someone who met life with resilience, worked diligently without complaint, and carried himself with honesty and wisdom. In both ordinary moments and life’s harder seasons, his patient presence and thoughtful guidance offered reassurance. His faith and devotion were evident in the way he showed up for others, again and again, with loyalty that never wavered.
He was, in every sense, deeply cherished and beloved. His compassion was not performative, but lived—expressed through gentleness, generosity, and a selfless readiness to help. Even in serious times, there was room for warmth; his humor could lighten a room, and his kind-hearted spirit made people feel seen and valued. In the example he set through steadfast love and quiet perseverance, he became an inspiration to many.
