Sharon was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on May 31, 1945, and adopted by Roger and Ethel Wong at age four. Little did they know the shy child with an angelic face would grow up to be a wild child, pushing her mother to the edge on more than one occasion. Throughout her life, Sharon remained strong, vocal, and independent. In other words, she was stubborn, blunt, and all-knowing. If you had an opportunity to be a part of Sharon’s life, you’d also know that despite that, everything she did came from a place of love.
Sharon loved helping people, which showed through her thirty years of service as an emergency dispatcher for the Honolulu Police Department and the Hawaii Fire Department.
Sharon is survived by her three children, Tanya Hutchinson, Ty Hutchinson, and Tami (Kaleo) Keolanui. She has two grandchildren, Joshua (Markie) Keolanui and Shelby Keolanui.
Services will be held privately.
Arrangements made by Hawaiian Memorial Park.
