Simeon “Bozo” K. Medeiros, 85, of Honolulu, retired Heavy Equipment Operator. He was born in Honolulu. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lucy, siblings Joseph, Stanley, Ralph, Jerry, Geraldine, and Loretta, and his beloved wife Pleiades Uilani “Sweetie.” He had so much love for animals and is preceded in death by his dogs Snookie, Paniolo, Kane, Gypsy, and Bonzo and cats Kitty, Grayhound and Popoki.
He spent his entire life in the same home he was raised in located in Kalihi. His home was always open to visitors, and it was the location of many garage parties and card games.
Uncle Bozo was so kind and generous but had a little bit of rascal in him. Although he is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, pets, and beloved wife, he is survived by brothers and sister in-laws and many nephews and nieces who loved him dearly and will miss him deeply.
Services will be held on Wednesday, October 11 at Hawaiian Memorial Park. Visitation: 9 a.m. Services: 10 a.m. Followed by burial: 1 p.m. at the park cemetery. In lieu of flowers and monetary gifts, the family kindly ask that you consider donating to the Hawaii Hawaiian Humane Society.
