

Hardy is survived by her children, Tammy-Nicole Keliipimauna Tallano (Melan), Monique Veronica Makanani Joseph (Ronald) and Daniel Christian Papaula Boro; her grandchildren, Justice Hookaulike Ahia Lovell, Paige Kaila Ahia Fernandez, Malachi Papaula Sue Ahia and Naia Breader; and her brothers Samuel Papaula Ahia, Jr. and Clement John Ahia (Cathy).
Hardy was born in Honolulu on August 25, 1940 to Ella Makue and Samuel Ahia. In 1967, she moved to San Francisco, California where she later married Daniel Boro and welcomed three beautiful children into the world.
Hardy was a devoted mother and devout Catholic. When she wasn’t with her children, you could find her at Sacred Heart Church or the Waianae Public Library where she worked as a Children’s Librarian until she retired in 2015.
Hardy was a spiritual woman who was involved in many church activities, including being a Lector, Eucharistic Minister, Office Secretary, Catechist, Outreach Coordinator, Chorister, and MBCC member. She loved serving the Lord and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
A service will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022, 9AM at Sacred Heart Church in Waianae, followed by Interment, 3PM at Hawaiian Memorial Park in Kaneohe.
